Visit the Vibrant Granite State
The Granite State, New Hampshire, holds colorful and varied adventures for the travel enthusiast. Four full seasons add color and excitement to activities for each climate and holiday. Hike the White Mountains in the touristy north or explore Hampton and Rye Beaches along the Atlantic coastline.
Hillsborough NH holds a Living History event in August honoring our fourteenth President Franklin Pierce. Celebrate July Fourth at Atlas Fireworks retailer/wholesaler, Jaffrey NH, with its unique display. October showcases a pumpkin festival in Milford NH. Visit Story Land, Glen NH. As a woman with impaired vision, independent travel to an event such as a conference fills me with delight. Professional networking is my priority at these seminars, but I am always most enthusiastic about exploring the community on foot. The sights, scenes, and sustenance of the locale where I am staying – Spanish and Indian food, for example, crowned my last foray. Excursion by foot was constrained on three sides, so ride share was my avenue to the world, and while this did not provide the same freedom of mind as pedestrian travel I am well pleased with my adventure.
