    Herd Your Words
    (Quatrain)

    Herd your word.
    Pound it into place.
    Don’t let it contretemps absurd,
    Fashion it with grace.

    Don’t squabble over its means,
    Give it a new face.
    As your own creation weens,
    Maturity will not erase.

Bring them out of your basket.
    To action words can race.
    Words have many facets.
    Place them not with haste.
