    Dear Echo and Dust Bunny,

I am a masked lovebird and am nearly five years old. I am very
colorful with a blue body, gray wings, white chest, coral beak, black
face and purple tail. Not to put too fine a point on it – I’ve often
    been told that I’m stupendous. . . . .

    Sincerely,
    Buddy

    A Fallen Tree (Nonfiction)

A stupendous crash echoed with vibration.
    What could be this iteration,
At four a.m. in the wee hours of the morn?
Looking outside, we saw no storm.

Across the tar driveway there is a hill,
Where towering tall spruce tree stand still.
One on the end had tumbled across,
The driveway in front of the car, fortunately no loss.

    Stupendous Soliloquy
    I’ll have to Amend-us
    or make us Beauteous ,
    but that would be Contentious.
I’ll try not to be Devious,
    because then you’d be Envious.
    I’m never facetious,
    but sometimes I’m Grievous,
while at the same time Hilarious
    which could be Insidious,
    and could even be in-Jurious,
    getting us all Kantankerous.
    It’s getting a bit Laborious
    without becoming Memorious,
    which is always Notorious.
    Sometimes it seems Obvious
    though a bit Pompous,
    and certainly Querulous,
    which makes me most Rambunctious.
    This all started with Stupendous,
    though it’s getting Tenuous
    and a bit Tedious.
    It could become Ubiquitous,
    which would seem Victorious,
    or at least Villainous,
    which could encourage Wanton-us,
    and therefore more X-uberousness
    from Youthfulness
    with Stupendous Zealousness !!!!!
