Out of Balance – Fantasy Novel
Due to a series of global natural disasters this planet is out of balance. Energy crystals have been scattered causing an imbalance in the magnetic field that keeps the planet in alignment. Now the guardian creature overseers must break their own rules to interact with humankind to recover the crystals.
The problem; their king is injured, with amnesia. One of the guardians has been appointed to keep him apprised. When he realizes what has happened, he sees the churning, unsettled myriad-colored clouds shifting above and asks, “Shouldn’t the sky be green?”

I was crossing a bridge when I saw a rainbow. I immediately drove to
it’s end and parked. I climbed up onto the rainbow and was enveloped
in a dense mist. As I passed out of the mist I beheld a spectacular
panorama.
There was a road ahead of me which forked into three parts with a
perch above and across the junction. On that perch was a starling
hopping from foot to foot and pointing with his beak. “Squawk! Go
straight ahead for Birdland, left for Frog Town and right for . . . a
surprise.”
