About Jane Toleno
In 1947, Jane Toleno and her twin sister were placed in incubation immediately after birth. Too much oxygen was allowed to filter into their incubators and both twins lost their eyesight. Her book, “BlindSight: Come and See,” poignantly describes living with blindness in an often short-sighted world.
