I’m a quaking aspen. Don’t get me wrong – I don’t quake from fear. I speak whenever the wind (or spirit) moves me. If you listen carefully, you will hear my words of wisdom.

I think that I shall never see,
A thing as lovely as a birch tree.
My bark white, strong, and tall.
My leaves change color in the fall.

I am the proud Granite State tree,
Robert Frost has written about me.
My hard wood in the White Mountains is found,
Also, in New England, all around.

I am one of the most famous trees of all times.
I have beautifully shaped leaves that kids used creatively in past days.
I grow almost everywhere because of my hardiness, but mostly in the northeast and north.
And in the fall, throngs of people travel miles upon miles to see my red and yellow leaves.
    Who am I?

A tree is quite alive and it depends on local conditions to survive.

The lucky seed of the willow tree lands in soil near a
    source of water.

The roots seek water as love seeks laughter.

    I am a willow tree.

My roots are filled with love .
    I am nourished by laughter.

The willow needs much water and I need much laughter.

    I am an oak tree
Have you ever really noticed my magestry
Sat down under my impressive branches.
Have you ever noticed all I do in the name of nature.
I provide homes for birds, squirrels and a multitude of critters and insects.
And also shade and building materials for humans
And ponder this – all from being a tiny acorn!
