    Dream for 2022
Yearly fires in the works in terms of goals in health, home decor, desires, destinations for thre upcoming year have already shifted. I heart breakingly cancelled my trip to see my grandson for his 7th birthday for him to be safe. His present turned out to be staying home for his birthday because he contracted COVID. Current goal: Be Positive

      Goals 2022 Prompt

Today is the day that I set the stage
To be intentional to fill each page
One letter, one word to form great sentences
To leave an impactful message upon the fences
Of our heart through every strike of the pen
Marking legendary moments from beginning to end
Today is the day that I set the stage
To be intentional to fill each page

Setting goals and making resolutions are a tradition for me each January 1. Every now and then, I achieve one. Last year, I became a regular contributor to Our Special Magazine. I’m really enjoying it. I want to do more magazines, especially for a wider audience. Having a regular gig would keep me in the game.

    Writing Goals 2022:
    1. Publish more poetry. I completed several poetry collections in 2021
    2. Finish writing the third novel in my series. I’m about half way through the draft, but procrastinate.
    3. I wish to start hosting live interactive workshops on writing techniques,
    4. And host author zoom presentations, but I’m hesitant to interact with people I don’t know.

    Goals are good,
    They say what I should
    do in an hour,
    like take a shower.
    But what I resolve
    always involves,
    big, deep, heavy thought,
    and stuff that I ought
    to have done yesterday !
