Bad Hiding Place
by Marlene Mesot
I had gone again to collect the overdue rent. The kitchen door was ajar, so I stepped inside.
After almost breaking my neck tripping on the upturned corner of the floorboards, I reached down to investigate. Underneath I found a hammer wedged under there. The claw showed rust spots on the underside.
The news had reported a recent murder, only this morning, using a claw like weapon. Where was my tenant now?

Oh my goodness Marlene! No wonder you write mysteries! This freaked me out a little bit 🙂 You certainly have a talent and an imagination.

I went in to grandma’s room. I was walking and I felt a give in the floor. I got down and looked and one board was out of line. I lifted it up, andwas an envaelope stuffed with cash. I opened it. over 100,000.00 fell out. what to do what to do?
