He was trained as a lawyer and had a very active legal practice before turning his hand successfully to writing fiction.     Philip Margolin earned a bachelors degree in government, and then served several years in the Peace Corps before attending and completing law school. After that, he had a vibrant law practice in. Oregon. Since 1996, he has been writing full-time. All of his full length novels have been best sellers.

    Philip writes in the genre of legal thrillers. His academic and practical experience in the legal field are evident in his fictional writing. His master full plot twists and compelling characters are evident in all of his work.
