    About Barbara Hinske
    Barbara is the USA Today bestselling author of the beloved Rosemont series, the Guiding Emily series, her sweet Christmas stories, and the mystery, thriller, and suspense novels in her "Who’s There?" collection.

    She and her husband share their own Rosemont with two adorable and spoiled dogs. She is besotted with decorating, entertaining, cooking and gardening. Now that her novel The Christmas Club has been made into a Hallmark Channel movie, she is completely star-struck and thrilled to have her work on the screen.

    Barbara Hinske is an attorney who recently left the practice of law to pursue her career as a full-time novelist. Her Guiding Emily series was conceived during a tour of The Foundation for Blind Children. She was inspired and moved by their mission and is donating half of her proceeds from the first book, Guiding Emily, to the Foundation

    • 22 years as a radio and television broadcaster in Mexico City, Chicago and San Antonio. He was the first blind newscaster on Mexican television.

    • 32 years as a motivational speaker and workshop presenter .
    • 21 years as a Human Resources manager with AT&T/Southwestern Bell.

    He makes his home now in San Antonio, TX, enjoys travel, teaching, dancing, bowling and reading. He is the father of 6 children and grandfather of 21.
