“I love all my books, but this is my favorite Cindy and Sammy story. The idea came from a carriage ride with my friend Maureen and guide dog Sanka. As the driver narrated and Maureen took pictures, a story was born.
I learned more about Benjamin Franklin’s inventions and the Declaration of Independence than I ever knew. It has made me want to know more, which is my desire for you. The story will grab you from the first page.
Benjamin Franklin’s spirit visits Sammy and tells him he needs his help. They must locate Thomas Jefferson’s portable writing desk. It is a matter of National security. Find out what the desk holds. Where could it be? Will Sammy, Cindy, and their friends find it in time?
You will learn and laugh as you travel through historic Philadelphia.
