The monstrous Texas longhorn bull lifted his head from the hay bale and eyed them with mild curiosity, then lowered his head to resume eating.
“I’m supposed to lasso that wild boy?” asked the new cowhand.
“just go right up and say Howdy y’all,” smirked the other cowhand.
He unlatched the gate and the two of them slipped inside ready for anything. The bull turned and they froze.
